The farmhouse is located in an exclusive position, next to a charming stream, nestled in a fairy-tale landscape that offers an atmosphere of peace and tranquility.
On one side of the property lies the town of Montepulciano, while on the other side are Montefollonico and Pienza, with the scenic Val di Chiana and the Apennines behind. The building dates back to the 1700s, originally built as a mill, and later transformed into a farmhouse for the cultivation of cereals, olive trees, and grazing lands.
Needless to say, the farmhouse is strategically positioned near the most popular tourist destinations of the Val d’Orcia and Val di Chiana. It is just 4.5 km from the center of Montepulciano, a town that offers culture, history, art, nature, and gastronomic delights, including the renowned Vino Nobile.
INTERIOR LAYOUT
The structure dates back to the 1700s, originally a mill, later converted into an agricultural farmhouse used for managing cereal, olive, and pasture cultivation.
The most recent renovation has revealed the true beauty of this farmhouse, both inside and out, showcasing the sought-after Tuscan style admired worldwide.
Inside, the typical wooden-beamed ceilings, Tuscan terracotta floors, and the living area with large brick barrel vaults create a warm, familiar atmosphere typical of Tuscan farmhouses.
The house, covering approximately 150 square meters, is spread over two floors connected by a beautiful internal staircase made of terracotta and wood.
On the ground floor, we find the living area consisting of a large lounge with a fireplace, sofas, and a smart TV, a bathroom, and the bright kitchen in cast iron and brass, fully equipped and featuring a dining table with access to the beautiful wisteria pergola, where there is a table perfect for outdoor dining on sunny days.
On the first floor, we are welcomed into the sleeping area, which consists of the master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom featuring both a bathtub and shower, and access to the garden. There is also a second double bedroom, also with an en-suite bathroom and access to the garden, and finally a third bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.
All rooms are equipped with air conditioning.
LAND AND EXTERIOR
The property is surrounded by a splendid 1500 square meter English-style park, in which the beautiful swimming pool is located in the North-West, always exposed to the sun, offering panoramic and poetic views of the surrounding vineyard. The park also features typical olive trees, oaks, and cypress trees, along with flowering plants such as roses, lavender, and rosemary, which release a fragrance that transports you into a dream.
Outside, there are many areas to relax in. There is a wonderful wisteria pergola with a wrought-iron table and chairs for hosting friends and family on summer days. A few steps away, there is a barbecue area and a wood-fired oven.
